How
Long does it take for the rotator to work? |
TOP |
Depending
on how long it takes for you to set up your account, it
will start as soon as you add your url's
This
is the first step in starting your rotator - enter all your urls you wish to rotate, making sure you assign each a hit count. Each url will rotate in sequential order, untill it reaches its assigned hit count. Once a url reaches its hit count, it is droped from the rotation. All other urls will continue untill they reach there hit counts.

Why does my rotator direct to the confirm email page? |
TOP |
This
can depend
on several factors, all your urls have reached there assigned hit count, all your urls are in 'pause' mode, you have not assigned any urls a hit count to start with or your start/stop setting has expired or is yet to happen.
-
If your just getting started, the problem is more then likely, you failed to assign any hit counts to your url's. The redirect to the signup page is the default for all rotators if they have nothing to rotate.
-
The number one problem members have is they fail to assign a correct count to there url's. The 'Count' is how many times you want this url to be seen. If you have the count set to 5, as soon as the url is hit 5 times, it will stop rotating. If all your url's in a rotator have reached there hit count, the rotator will default to your referral link.
-
It's best to have at least 1 url set to -1(Infinite Rotation) This way your rotator will never completely stop. You can of course, set them all to -1.

What
is the count field for? |
TOP |
The count field is the assigned number of hits you want each url to get before it drops from rotation. Options are any numeric number, with -1 providing infinite rotation.

Why would I want to set start/stop times? |
TOP |
If you have a promotion starting at a specific date, you can set up your rotator to start when your ready to go. Set the start time and forget about it. It will start all by itself on the assigned date. This is also an easy way to stop a rotator if you have many url's listed. Just set the stop time and you have stopped all your url's with one click!
If your using your rotator to deliver banners, or traffic to a customer, you can not only control how many hits they get, you also can select the time frame as well.

Do
you track clicks to each url? |
TOP |
We log hits to the rotator, not to each url. In other words, your log file will show the details on the hit to each rotator. Loging date and IP address of each hit to each rotator you have tracking enabled on.

Is
there a danger of getting accused of spam? |
TOP |
If you spam your rotator link to others, you will loose your account with us. Your the one promoting your url, so you assume the responsibility for your own actions. If a spam complaint is filed against you, we first block your account to investigate. We also will provide the person filing the complaint your IP address or anything else they may request by a court order. Don't spam your rotator link, you will get caught!

How
do I see if my rotator is working? |
TOP |
In your account area there is a link for each rotator. Click the link and a new window will open and your rotator will direct to the url that is in the assigned position.
You can also copy your url link and paste it into another browser window and test it there. Rotators do not stop unless you have them set too.
If you pause a url it will be listed as paused on the editing url page. If you bulk edit your url's, each url will list there current state in the table. You can change the state there and bulk submit the list there with one click.

What is the View Account for? |
TOP |
View accounts alow you to set up rotators and assign url's to it, then enable tracking. Then you can set a password and username for the view account. Giving another person this login information will alow them to view (View Only!) the details of the rotator, such as hit counts and log information. They can't edit/change anything! If you are selling traffic or hits to a web site, you can set up a view account and let your customers see for themselves the stats.

What does the bulk editing feature help me do? |
TOP |
Bulk editing alows you to add as many url's you want in a text field, with the hit counts included. For example you can enter: http://mywebsite.com 120
http://myotherwebsite.com 120 http://mythirdsite.com 200
Each on a new line, adding several in the field and clicking submit will add all the url's and assigned hit counts all with one click! Each of the url's above would be added with the number at the end as there assigned hit count.
Bulk editing is also used to edit your existing url's. You can pause/start or edit them all at once and click one submit button.

How do I assign weight to a URL (Have it get extra hits)? |
TOP |
Since the rotation is sequential, (Each URL is cycled in order) You can easly add extra hits to a URL by entering it more then once in rotation. The more times you add it to the rotator, the more hits it will receive!

Why has my Free account stopped working? |
TOP |
Free accounts will expire after 10 days or 100 clicks to your rotator. Once this happens your free account is put on hold. You will need to upgrade to a paid level to continue to use your rotator. There are upgrade links in your members area for you to use.
